Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By installing or using the RTL browser extension ("the Extension") you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a standard contract (חוזה אחיד) within the meaning of the Standard Contracts Law, 5743-1983. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.
2. Identity of the supplier
The Extension is published by Xtended Techs, operated by Lahav Kuzi. Contact: lahav@xtendedtechs.com.
3. Product description, intended use, and limitations
The Extension's sole purpose is to apply correct right-to-left (RTL) text direction to Hebrew and Arabic text on a fixed list of AI chat websites: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek, and Grok.
The Extension works by injecting CSS and adjusting the HTML dir attribute on elements it identifies as containing RTL text, using Unicode character-range detection. Elements identified as inherently LTR — such as code blocks and mathematical formulas — are left unchanged.
Known limitations:
- The Extension modifies the structure of third-party websites. Changes those sites make to their own code may temporarily affect the Extension's behaviour until a compatible update is released.
- RTL detection is not guaranteed to be 100% correct in all cases, particularly in highly mixed-language content or unusual layout configurations.
- The Extension is designed for Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers only.
- Correct functioning requires that the supported AI chat sites be accessible and operational.
The Extension is not a general-purpose accessibility tool and does not guarantee WCAG compliance of the third-party sites on which it operates.
4. Licence
Subject to payment of the applicable fee (or during the free trial), you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Extension on a single device. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension beyond what is permitted by mandatory law.
- Repackage, redistribute, or resell the Extension.
- Modify the Extension and distribute the modified version under its original name.
- Share, transfer, or attempt to transfer your licence key to another person or device.
5. Pricing, payment, and distance-purchase disclosure
This is a distance purchase (עסקת מכר מרחוק) within the meaning of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, section 14ג. Mandatory disclosures:
- Price: 25₪ (twenty-five New Israeli Shekels), one-time, per device. Displayed price includes applicable VAT.
- Free trial: 14 calendar days of full access — no payment required.
- Payment processor: Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record).
- Activation: Immediate upon successful payment and licence-key entry in the extension popup.
The licence is permanently bound to the device fingerprint where it is first activated. Reinstalling Chrome, reformatting the operating system, or using a new device requires a new purchase.
6. Cancellation and refund policy
Under section 14ג(ג) of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, you have the right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days of receipt of the product or of the disclosure document required under section 14ג(ב), whichever is later.
Waiver of cancellation right. Pursuant to section 14ג(ד)(1) of the Consumer Protection Law and regulation 6(ב) of the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply once a digital product has been provided to the consumer and the consumer has begun using it. By entering and activating your licence key, you acknowledge that the Extension has been provided to you and that you have begun to use it, and you thereby expressly waive the right to cancel the transaction.
If you have not yet activated your licence key, you may cancel within 14 days by emailing lahav@xtendedtechs.com. A cancellation fee of up to 5% of the transaction price or ₪100 (whichever is lower) may be charged, per regulation 5 of the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010.
7. Intellectual property
The Extension — including its source code, visual design, and associated materials — is protected by the Israeli Copyright Law, 5768-2007, and applicable international treaties. All rights are reserved by Xtended Techs. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you; you receive only the limited licence described in section 4.
8. No warranty
The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that:
- The Extension will operate without interruption or be free of errors;
- The Extension will remain compatible with supported AI chat sites after those sites update their code;
- RTL detection will be correct in all cases, particularly in highly mixed-language or atypical content;
- The Extension will remain available or be actively maintained indefinitely.
Nothing in this section limits any right granted to consumers under mandatory Israeli law, including the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, or the Standard Contracts Law, 5743-1983.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable mandatory law:
- The Company's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Extension shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence (25₪ for a single-device licence).
- The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of business, or loss of profit.
- The Company is not responsible for the content, operation, or legal compliance of the third-party AI chat sites on which the Extension operates.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, the Standard Contracts Law, 5743-1983, the Torts Ordinance [New Version], or any other mandatory provision of Israeli law.
10. Third-party websites and services
The Extension operates on third-party websites (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any of those services. Their respective terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services.
11. Updates to the Extension
We may release updates to the Extension at any time, including compatibility updates required because supported AI chat sites have changed their code. Updates distributed via the Chrome Web Store are applied automatically unless you have disabled automatic extension updates. We reserve the right to discontinue the Extension or specific features at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will be changed. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes. Continued use after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from chrome://extensions. We may revoke your licence if you breach these Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv–Yafo, Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection jurisdiction rule that cannot be contractually excluded.
